CARE VINE Group

Vision

From the very beginning of the Christian Church the mutual encouragement of one another's faith by weeping with those who weep and rejoicing with those who rejoice has been a vital part of the church's life. We, therefore, want to be a church which promotes genuine relationships of deep and mutual care which enable us to minister to one another's needs in love.

Ideas

Develop ways to build relationships through which the blessings of the gospel can be made manifest to those in situations needing tangible love and care.

Needs

Develop a plan for when and how the congregation (in whole or in part) should provide tangible care or prayer to families within and related to the congregation.

Help promote channels of communication that make it easy for a member of the congregation to share, "I need help," or "Here is where help is needed."

Establish some means for discretely and biblically passing on that communication to the necessary parties to provide for the most appropriate care and response to take place.

Identify mercy needs within the Hartsville community that HPC is uniquely gifted or positioned to meet and make recommendations as to how to do so.

Some questions that may help guide in providing care to those in need:

Encouragement

Encourage those with spritual or material needs to communicate those needs to the church.

Encourage members to exercise their God-given gifts and opportunities to personally minister to one another.

Encourge the congregation not to grow weary in well doing.
